GH Stack is a human growth hormone supplement in powdered form manufactured by Universal Nutrition. Always nice to review something that does not come in a spray bottle. There is a chance that it might actually work.
The Ingredients are:
Mucuna Pruriens Extract 250 mg
(standardized for 10% L-Dopa)
Griffonia Simplicfolia Extract 250 mg
(standardized for 10% 5-HTP)
Somatopro A Complex (silly fancy name)
Ornithine 3 g
Arginine 1.2 g
Lysine 1.2 g
Glycine 1.1 g
Glutamine 1 g
Other Ingredients: L-Ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate, L-arginine pyroglutamate, L-lysine HCL, L-glycine, L-glutamine, citric acid, aspartame, natural and artificial flavors, grapeskin extract.
Normally we skip the inactive other ingredients but for some reason they have lumped 5 additional amino acids in with the sweeteners and flavorings.
Makes no sense. They were doing such a nice job of being up front with what is in the product. Why stop when you get to the more expensive ingredients? Is this just label dressing or is there a useful amount of anything there?
The company website makes a big deal about how Gh Stack contains not just arginine but arginine pyroglutamate as used in the Italian study performed at the University of Rome. If it was so important why is it not in the Somatopro A Complex instead of the additional ingredients?
It would be a better product if the L-arginine pyroglutamate and L-Ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate switched places with the ornithine and arginine. Of course it would then have to be a more expensive product and pricing is one of GH Stack’s strong points.
Universal Nutrition’s GH Stack has a suggested retail price of $42.50. You can shop around the web and find at several stores for under $25. A very affordable and reasonably priced product.
Before giving it a rating, there is one part of the company’s website promotion we just can’t let slide by.

Deceptive marketing tactics seem to be the norm in the sports supplement business. To be fair I should extend that to the whole supplement business.
This is a decent basic stack geared more for the sports crowd than the anti-aging people. The product is affordable and has a good amount of amino acids. Just wish the company would clean up their act.

What makes arginine different from l-arginine pyroglutamate?
I suspect if they are listing the quantity of arginine, but not the l arginine pyroglutamate, there is not a lot in there.
Arginine pyroglutamate consists of arginine bonded with pyroglutamte. The short explanation is that this bonding makes it easier for the arginine to cross the blood brain barrier.

Just a thought on the’ swishing’ 30 second claim. You know how some meds are orally disolving? I, for instance, have a migraine med- maxalt- that my Doctor said the disolving oral tab is faster acting – transdermal, immediate release into the bloodstream- bypassing the stomach, blah blah blah. But it does work faster v. the swallow tab.

No, there is a big difference between pharmaceuticals that have been designed to be orally dissolving and amino acids in hgh supplements.
If there was anything to it all the manufacturers of hgh products that you drink would be making the same claims.

The best way to take any of these hgh products is on an emprty stomach. At least two hours from having last eaten.
The order of best times to take it would be:
Bedtime
Morning
30 minutes before a workout
After a workout

The bit about hgh supplements not being of much use to people under the age of 25 is true. If you are not prone to growth hormone deficiency then you will not get much benefit.

There really aren’t that many ingredients that are animal sourced. Colostrum comes from cows and is a pretty useless ingredient anyway. Anterior pituitary peptides can either be come from either bovine or porcine sources. Cows or pigs.

Try the product that sounds best to you. Developing bulk requires that you are getting adequate amounts of protein.
