GH Stack is a human growth hormone supplement in powdered form manufactured by Universal Nutrition. Always nice to review something that does not come in a spray bottle. There is a chance that it might actually work.
The Ingredients are:
Mucuna Pruriens Extract 250 mg
(standardized for 10% L-Dopa)
Griffonia Simplicfolia Extract 250 mg
(standardized for 10% 5-HTP)
Somatopro A Complex (silly fancy name)
Ornithine 3 g
Arginine 1.2 g
Lysine 1.2 g
Glycine 1.1 g
Glutamine 1 g
Other Ingredients: L-Ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate, L-arginine pyroglutamate, L-lysine HCL, L-glycine, L-glutamine, citric acid, aspartame, natural and artificial flavors, grapeskin extract.
Normally we skip the inactive other ingredients but for some reason they have lumped 5 additional amino acids in with the sweeteners and flavorings.
Makes no sense. They were doing such a nice job of being up front with what is in the product. Why stop when you get to the more expensive ingredients? Is this just label dressing or is there a useful amount of anything there?
The company website makes a big deal about how Gh Stack contains not just arginine but arginine pyroglutamate as used in the Italian study performed at the University of Rome. If it was so important why is it not in the Somatopro A Complex instead of the additional ingredients?
It would be a better product if the L-arginine pyroglutamate and L-Ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate switched places with the ornithine and arginine. Of course it would then have to be a more expensive product and pricing is one of GH Stack’s strong points.
Universal Nutrition’s GH Stack has a suggested retail price of $42.50. You can shop around the web and find at several stores for under $25. A very affordable and reasonably priced product.
Before giving it a rating, there is one part of the company’s website promotion we just can’t let slide by.
Proprietary formula aside, another fact that makes GH Stack unique is its “Dual Action Secretatogues” system. No other supplement in the world combines a sub-lingual with an oral delivery system. As a sub-lingual, the proprietary ingredients found in GH Stack are absorbed rapidly and assimilated efficiently. As an oral supplement, the secretatgogues are released gradually, for a sustained GH release. This two-step DAS system effectively doubles your dose of GH-enhancing nutrients found in GH Stack.
Add to that this from the recommended use portion of the label:
Swish GH Stack in your mouth for thirty seconds before swallowing.
What to do you know, I have been drinking dual action margaritas for years. Twice as effective? Maybe I don’t swish them around in my mouth long enough.
Folks this is just pure marketing bull that has no basis in the world of facts.
I don’t get it. They have a respectable product. Why make blatantly false claims?
Deceptive marketing tactics seem to be the norm in the sports supplement business. To be fair I should extend that to the whole supplement business.
This is a decent basic stack geared more for the sports crowd than the anti-aging people. The product is affordable and has a good amount of amino acids. Just wish the company would clean up their act.
GH Stack receives an hgh supplement rating of a B-.
