hghtruths.comGHR Essentials is brought to you by Swanson Health Products a long time vitamin supplier primarily known for low prices on their own Swanson brand products. Having a long term reputation to protect, they actually give full product details and make no dead doctor endorsements like the fly by night GHR companies.

We like honest truths.

Warning: This product is not intended for use by pregnant or lactating women, children, diabetics, persons with herpes or forms of psychosis. Do not use if you are taking an MAO inhibitor. Consult your physician before use if you are being treated for hypertension, cardiac or pulmonary disease or if you are taking products containing L-dopa.

Straight forward no bull information!  Is this really a supplement company?

On first glance GHR Essentials appeared to be on par or better than a number of products that have been rated at C- or C. However we are talking full ingredient disclosure, no deceptive marketing and an everyday price of only $15.49.

That is not a typo. This is a $15.49 product at full retail. Using proper hgh cycling techniques, the cost is about $10 per month at the lowest dosage.

So the worst grade we would be able to give for this product would be a C+. That would be the grade for somebody taking 12 capsules at a cost of about $36.00 per month when you factor in shipping.

The best grade we could give it would be a B. This would apply to somebody of low weight or who has the sensitivity for a smaller dosage to work. The 3 to 6 capsules range.

GHR Essentials might be able to pull a B+ at the 6 capsule range just because it is such a good value.  Won’t know about that until giving it a test drive.

Yes, this product was such a good value that we ordered 6 bottles. Make that 3. The other 3 are part of a current of a current buy one get one free sale. (BOGO) This brings the price down to an absolutely ridiculous level.

GHR Essentials comes from Swanson Vitamins. Swanson is one of the most reputable online vitamin dealers and has killer prices on their name brand products. I have been purchasing from them for years. I am embarassed that i didn’t know they made an hgh releaser.

So in the interest of full disclosure we are not embarrassed to say that we signed up as affiliates of Swanson Vitamins. We don’t think it is greedy or deceptive to get a 10% commission which is pretty much the standard from reputable online supplement retailers. Plus we get to offer you an extra deal.

You have to register to get it but the banner below leads to a page that gives $5 off on your order. Basically this amounts to free shipping.

Editor’s Note 10/17/09: The $5 off link does not seem to be working correctly so we had to substitute a different link link. We emailed support to see what the problem is and if we can get it back.

After registering, just do a site search for hgh and you will find the product. GHR Essentials is the only hgh product that Swanson makes.

The current sale allows you to have a monthly hgh supplement cost of $4 to $18 per month depending on your dosage. I don’t know of a better value deal anywhere.

Even at full non-sale price it is a very affordable high value option for those on a budget.

This product does come in large OO capsules. So if you want to just be swallowing capsules, you need to be able to swallow big ones. You also have the option of opening the capsules into a glass of water and drinking your dosage.

There will be an updated report after the product arrives and consumption begins.

For now…..

GHR Essentials gets a hgh product review rating of C+/B.

Thanks for the link (and the coupon!) FYI, the banner doesn’t show up in Firefox. Had to switch over to IE

  2. Sylvain beaudet says:

thank you for the link but there is no stock available for now

    • hgh truths says:

Bummer, it was such a great sale so I guess they ran out. It is their own brand so I would assume that there will be more soon. You can sign up for an email alert and they will email you when it is back in stock.

  3. sylvain says:

that what i did thank you , the price is good but they overcharge you for shipping in canada an extra 16$ this add up to 21 box for shipping

    • hgh truths says:

Shame about the shipping cost to Canada. They charge $4.99 plus actual freight charges for international shipping. i can’t really blame them. I know from experience that the international shipping of dietary supplements can be a real pain.

My US domestic shipment was sent UPS 3day and arrived on the third day. Included a coupon good for $5 off on my next order and information about their price match guarantee.

I am about to do the guinea pig routine and will report back with my experiences.

  4. sylvain says:

i hope this is going to be a good product?Good experimentation

  5. Sylvain says:

how long does it take before you increase the amount of capsule you take, i weight 170 ,last night i began with 6 capsules is it to much to began with

    • hgh truths says:

I started with 3 then went to 4 the next week. Raised it to 5 the following week and now am at 6. No need to be in a big hurry.

  6. sylvai says:

Thank you very much for this valuable information

  7. coolcat says:

I just took one close to bedtime and ate dinner with a small glass of wine a few hours later and I can tell you, I feel like I could go to bed right now…about 830pm i was feeling tired. I am going to take 2 more right before bed and then tomorrow I’ll take one before my workout and two before bed. how is your ‘trail’ going?

    • hgh truths says:

I don’t quite get the cronology here but….. It is probably much more effective to take your entire dosage for the day at bedtime.

Next week I move up to 7 per day at bedtime. This last week taking 6 has been pretty good. i do suggest that people start at the minimal dosage of and work their way up.

  8. Sylvain says:

hello after i finishe my 12 week i will be at 9 capsules after that when i take a month off for cycling ,do i began the other cycle whith the minimum or do i stick with 9 capsules Thank again

  9. Dave J says:

I’m so glad I check’d out your web page before ordering $30,000 of Somatropinne HgH. Only kidding. I did order their SAMPLE 10-tablet pack for $8 just to try it out. I’ll LYK if I get any positive feeling out of it. Because you ‘spoke’ so highly of GHR Essentials and the ‘responses’ have been so positive, I ordered 2 bottles from Swanson. Can’t wait to feel the results and compare the two.

    • hgh truths says:

      Dave J,

If you got the spare 30K just send it over to me :)

The $8.00 sample pack is about the equivalent of one dosage of GHR Essentials. Each bottle of GHR Essentials has 40 doses. You do the math.

GHR Essentials is not the best hgh supplement however it is the best value for the money. Just wrapping up a couple of articles on combining GHR Essentials with some other products to get a stronger product.

  10. Dan says:

Glad I ran into your sight before I got suckered into a BS product. There is really an overwhelming amount of disinformation on HGH. I am an existing Swanson customer so I think I will place an order. I am interested in reading your above mentioned article on combining products with GHR.

  11. Kevin says:

Im 52 & about 2 years ago, gave up trying to discover the perfect martini, haha. But anyway, Ive really have been into my weight and cardio routine. I havent been taking any supplements at all. Maybe my age is catching up with me, but I could use some help with the workout. I ordered the GHR Essentials. Got any other supplements to recommended in addition to that? You HGH truths, really help with my decision making Thanks for your help.

    • hgh truths says:

A good anti-oxidant (like alpha lipoic acid), a multiple vitamin and this stuff called Green Magic would make a good program.

  12. Kevin says:

Thanks. I’ll order those as well. You have a great site. very insightful well worth the time to read.

  13. Mike says:

Hello, does this product help in height growth. I am Male, and currently 23 years old. If this product is not useful in height growth, which HGH product do you think is most beneficial in promoting height growth?

    Thank you

    • hgh truths says:

NO Hgh product is going to help you grow taller.

I think somewhere in the comments of a grow taller article there is a link to a course that does the stretching stuff.

  14. Mike says:

Also, a comment by one of the visitors of your website talked about natural height growth through stretching and other exercises, have you done any research in regards to that?

  15. Kevin says:

Can I ask please what the anti-oxidant (alpha lipoc acid) does exactly. Also multi vitamins are saturated throughout the internet. Do you have reviews for them as well?? Any recommendations?? One more thing, I do wheat grass juice 3 times a week. Is that any subsitute for the “green Magic” ??? Thanks for your time.

    • hgh truths says:

      You can ask.

The short form is that it is a potent anti-oxidant that can boost other antioxidants.

There are all sorts of super green products and Green Magic is the best of the lot.

  16. Rhonda says:

I recently ordered GHR Essentials from Swanson. If I am unable to take it at night for various reasons once in a while and I don’t take it before working out because I may not have time to work out every day, is there a next best time to take it? Can it be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach even if I am not going to work out? On the bottle it says to take it before working out but it doesn’t say if there are any other times besides workout or bedtime that it can be taken. Would I be wasting my time to take at other times during the day?

  17. Sean says:

The save 5 bucks link isnt working. Is there a code I can enter/ You guys might be losing your 10%.

    • hgh truths says:

Thanks for the tip. The link is still supposed to work but isn’t. We have temporarily replaced it with a different link and hope to get the save $5 link back soon.

  18. Eric says:

I am 50 yrs young and weight 240, height 6’0.
I woudl like to lose 40lbs and reduce body fat to 15%. I just order GHR. Do I take the dosage for my desired weight or current weight. And when should is cycle off and on with GHR?

  19. Matt says:

Thanks for all the info. Great site. I just started my second week of GHR Essentials and I’m up to 9 capsules a day. When I take it at night on an empty stomach it keeps me up, so I’ve been taking it in the afternoon on an empty stomach right before a workout. Is this effective in your opinion? The difficulty is getting a good workout on an empty stomach! Another question, what is your response to claims that oral HGH releasors are ineffective because they are destroyed during digestion? After a week I haven’t noticed any changes. Thanks.

    • hgh truths says:

If before bed does not work the next best thing is very first thing in the morning.

Taking the products on an empty stomach with a glass of water results in a more rapid uptake. The whole destroyed thing is kind of silly and usually used by scam marketers of spray products. Next time I go to a restaurant I think I’ll see if they serve steak in a spray bottle.

The nutrients that aren’t quickly absorbed go through the digestive process and are transformed into the various ingredients that the body needs to be healthy. Works for me.

  20. Matt says:

Thanks for the response. After some more research, I can see why sprays can’t work. Another question, what the heck is Stemulite? Ever try it? I think you mentioned you were trying GHR Essentials – how’s that going?

    • hgh truths says:

I remember looking at stemulite a year or more ago. Way over priced for what you get.

The GHR is working great. I need to write a post about it.

  21. Robert says:

Swanson advises anyone with herpes not to take their hgh. Is there a problem if one has herpes?

    • hgh truths says:

Arginine can “excite” the herpes virus causing irritation or breakouts for some people. This is why most products with arginine include lysine eve though lysine competes for the same receptor sites. Lysine is one of the main ingredients in many topical herpes and cold sore creams.

If this is a problem for you, try a product that is glycine or glutamine based.

  22. Matt says:

I don’t see a review for “Fountain of Youth HGH Complete” product. Any experience with this product? Also, what are your thoughts on methyl 1 d?

  23. Matt says:

I ask about Methyl 1 D from LG Sciences and I noticed they also have a HGH product. Any experience with either products or LG Sciences as a company?

    Thanks again.

    • hgh truths says:

I seem to remember that Fountain of Youth had more than one version and the best was just kind of average.

I also seem to remeber that the current version of Methyl 1 d was essentially Dhea and that a previous version was seized by the FDA for containing unapproved substances. I seldom trust sports supplement companies that make fancy claims.

  24. Matt says:

I just came across an interesting article on the effects of Bioperine. According to some research, Bioperine has the ability to multiply the bioavailability and therefore the effects of many supplements – including amino acids. What is your opinion of this conclusion? Have you tried Bioperine and had any success? Always looking to stretch my $…

    • hgh truths says:

The only Bioperine research I have ever seen was written by people who had an economic interest in the sale of Bioperine.

  25. red says:

so are you going to tell us how you’ve progressed since you started, what changes you’ve noted if any? I’m female age 48 (in 2 weeks) 140 lbs, and drag through my day as if I’m 80. I do step aerobics for 1 hour 5 days a week and have for the past 6 years. Looking for all the help I can get here please….

    • hgh truths says:

I have been taking products for so long that I really don’t have changes to report on. I have found GHR Essentials to be effective and i will have a report on how I managed my dosage and combined in an additional product.

  26. Brian says:

I’ve read all the good things about the GHR Essentials, but do you believe there is a better product out there, under $50? If so, could you please point me in the right direction? Either way, after I finish my current stack, I will be picking up some of this to give it a try.

    • hgh truths says:

GHR is the highest value product but thee a re a number of B rated products that are better and can be found for sale under $50. Just look at the Big List.

  27. Matt says:

Any update on GHR Essentials and recommendations on stacking would be great. I’m on my third week with the product. I’ve been steadily losing fat and getting stronger, but I’m also aggressively dieting and working out (using Rusty’s site for info – thanks).

Another question: Do you have any opinion on Aminohydroxybutyric acid or “Gabob?” Some claim it has HGH releasing properties like GHB.

    Thanks again.

    • hgh truths says:

Next time you order from Swanson consider buying some of their powdered glycine and taking about 2.5 grams along with the GHR Essentials.

GHB is a bit over rated as an hgh releaser and from my experience the gaboob does not reach the same level.

  28. Tommy says:

Hi, I have been using Restorage for several years, but I am ready to try something new (better). I see you recommend GHR Essentials, but only give it a C+/B. What suppliments do you rate the highest? BTW,I really like your website and advice, thanks.. You ROCK!

  29. TMatt says:

I have ordered the Swanson’s version, this one is glycine based, as you recommended to Red.
I weigh 115 & it says to take 1/3 & work your way up. Am I doing correctly by taking only one capsule to start & for how long?
What changes will I notice & how long for results?
I purchase many supplements from Swanson’s & am glad that I found them.

    • hgh truths says:

Give yourself at least two or three days at each dosage level to see how you feel.

Some people notice minor results in a week or so and some people take up to 4 months.

  30. Sylvain says:

Hi everybody just want to say that ghr essentiel is on sale right now until dec 21 9.95 a bottle a bargain

  31. Dave says:

I’ve been taking this for about 3 months and I think it is doing something (positive). Just read an article that suggests Glutamine should be part of a good releasor. Doesn’t look like Glutamine is in this. Thoughts?

    Thanks enjoy the website.

    • hgh truths says:

Glutamine is one of a number of good hgh releasers. A product does not need to have Glutamine in it if it is using other good releasers.

  32. zak says:

i would like to know how this product will help a 17 year old? will it boost growth hormone levels?, help overall develoment? increase sport performance levels? or are these products just for old people?
hope to hear from you soon.

  33. Paul says:

Would it be wise–or harmful–to take the Z-labs product before bed and then the Swanson product during the day as an extra? Male 42yrs…..Thanks!

  34. Marcus says:

What do they mean when they say take it before you workout on an empty stomach? I’m obviously not going to workout on an empty stomach so…

And when’s the best time to take it (besides bedtime) on days I don’t workout?

  35. trees says:

If taken in the morning on an empty stomach, how long should I wait to drink coffee or eat?

  36. José Pablo says:

I’m very gratefull for stumbling to your blog… you have enlightened me!
I have a question though… I’m interested in increasing muscle masss, I live in México, and although GHR Essentials is good priced, international shipping ups the price quite a bit. I read about the Arginine and Ornitine HGH combo… is it any good? I may be getting GNC’s for the purpose(1500mg ar- 1000mg or), can you say anything about it? Will it do the trick (or better get GHR)?

  37. Darren says:

I’ve been weight training for over 10 years and i’m 28 years old, would hgh help me put on more mass at this age?

  38. Lauren says:

Ok, I am a 24 year old female. I had a child 2 years ago, and had gained 80 pounds in the process. I am a very healthy individual, have since lost the weight and I run, do yoga and eat 50- 80 percent raw fruits, veggies, nuts and such. After all of this, the skin on my stomach has not returned to normal. I am an aspiring model and cannot do this with my current situation. It sags and looks abysmal. I do not want to get surgery and am wondering if an hgh activator such as this one could be helpful?? I have tried EVERYTHING. Diet, exercise, creams, exfoliating, massage… All my hard work, I weigh 120 lbs., and I feel as if it doesn’t matter because my stomach is ruined.

  39. Hi,
I have read and reread your site over the years, particularly your comments and suggestions for Swanson’s GHR. I’m finally ready to use it! Thought I had bookmarked your site….didn’t….took me awhile to find. I thought I remembered you had come to suggest a second product to take with Swanson’s — glutathione???? I can’t seem to find this anywhere in your site now. Has your opinion changed? Wrong supplement? I’d be most grateful if you could advise me what the supplement was and where to look in your site. Thank you again for all of the great research, sharing it and publishing it for everyone to read. Best wishes, Nita
