Health and Fitness Implications of HGH Products

Do We Ever Recommend Any HGH Supplements?

YES, but it's rare. Why don't we recommend just any human growth hormone like Health and Fitness Implications of HGH Products? Only HGH pills with clinically backed ingredients, in clinically proven amounts earn our recommendation. Few HGH supplements meet this mark. Our absolute favorite is Secratatropin HGH. Decide for yourself...Read our Secratatropin HGH review here or visit SecratatropinHGH.com.

Windy title. The basic purpose of the [tag-tec]health and fitness[/tag-tec] category is to embrace that title. We want to look at this from every angle we can think of. These will probably include health, wellness, exercise, fitness and body building.

The body building side is a tough one for me. I have been doing a lot of surfing in the various forums trying to obtain an understanding of why. I just don’t get it.

Makes absolutely no sense to me why so many people want to mega dose on steroids and hormones just for muscle bulk. Most competitions are going to be testing and the biggest trend has been natural bodybuilding contests.

All that potential health risk just to “look good”? I am trying real hard not to be judgmental. I really would like to understand and would appreciate comments that could explain this for me.

I understand why professional athletes would be taking short cuts. There is real big money involved. All that fame and fortune.

Anyway, this website is more focused on the overall benefits of the various hgh therapies as they relate to anti-aging and general health. Hgh usage by people under the age of 30 is mostly useless. Taking the supplements would be sort of an expensive vitamin and using prescription injectable hgh would be silly.

Besides the main topic of human growth hormone, we will also report on anything in the universe of health and fitness that we think would be of use to our readers

“Hgh usage by people under the age of 30 is mostly useless.”

You are absolutely right on this point. This is a supplement that is intended for adults at mid-life or later. Children, teens and young adults should not be toying around with HGH.

Nice article. With all the talk about HGH in baseball, this fact is too often ignored within the media coverage.

  2. hgh truths says:

Thanks, we give it our best shot.

The craziest thing I have been seeing lately is kids thinking that if they take amino acid based hgh supplements, they will grow taller.

  3. James says:

Nice article but i’m 28 and my body has slowed down considerably in the last 3 years. Now it seems to take forever to heal from a bodybuilding or football injury yet you say that it is silly to take hgh if you are under 30. Why is that so??? How can i speed up my recovery time?

  4. hgh truths says:

    James,

If you want to give it a try, it probably won’t hurt.

We are attempting to counter act all the over blown hype. The younger you are the more minimal the results. Age 40 to 60 is probably the sweet spot for these products.

  5. Jack says:

Do you lose the muscle you built if you quit hgh?

  6. hgh truths says:

    Jack,

First off, hgh is not the big time muscle builder that most people make it out to be. The effect on over all fitness and tone is greater than the muscle building effect.

Most of the muscle you do develop will be kept if you keep working out but the exact details are very age dependent.

  7. Dster says:

I have read in several places that taking gh is good for joints, and as such, it is good to take while taking steroids that may “dry you out” and weaken joints. Any truth to this?

  8. hgh truths says:

    Dster,

hgh hormone can be good for the joints however a good glucosamine product will probably have a greater affect on joint hydration.

  9. Steve says:

I am 34 years old, 5’6″ tall, and weigh about 155 pounds. I am in pretty decent shape cause I am in the Army but it’s going down hill. I am deployed at the moment and dont get to do alot of physical training. I have a real lack of energy and have a hard time motivating myself to do much of anything. There is a small gym here and i would like to get into a work out routine. I have went a couple times but i just feel drained most of the time. Even though I want to work out I just can’t get motivated. This is the first time I have ever done any kind of research on hgh. Do you think taking hgh would help me get my energy back? If so, I’m guessing any one of these B rated products would work?

This is pretty much off of your subject but some of the guys here take GAKIC before the workout and they say it helps them “get in the mood”. Can there be any truth to that or do you think it’s mostly in their heads?

    • hgh truths says:

      Steve,
Any one of the “B” rated products would work great.

GAKIC is just another one of those sports supplements with a lot of story. Basically just a large dosage of amino acids taken before a workout. NO Explode and many other products work on the same principle. They seem to help people. I personally have always used straight arginine with some regular niacin to get the same effect.

  10. Steve says:

been looking at arginine and niacin on swansonvitamins.com… this stuff is pretty cheap. what amount of these should i take and how often? And shouldn’t i throw in some protien there also? Don’t mean to be needy, just want the best relults… Thanx

    • hgh truths says:

      Steve,

The protein question got eaten by the spam filter but we rescued it

The protein drinks can be great for breakfast or after a workout. I am a big fan of combination products that use two or three different kinds of protein that digest across different time periods.

  11. Steve says:

Don’t know if that last comment posted. I have been looking at arginine and niacin on swansonvitamins web site. Its way cheaper than buying the other stuff. And if you get the same results then it’s unbeatable! I was wondering how much to take and when..
Also, i was looking at GHR Essentials. It says it helps maintain a healthy release of growth hormone, provides a combination of vitamins and amino acids that encourage the release of this hormone for health and vitality features arginine, ornithine, AlphaSize and more…..
    It has,
    Vitamin C USP 150 mg
    Vitamin B-6 UPS 24.9 mg
    L-Argine Base 930 mg
    L-(OKG) 525 mg
    L-Omithine HCI 345 mg
    Glycine 345 mg
    L-Lysing HCI 180 mg
Standardized Mucuna pruriens Extract 37.5 mg
    AlphaSize Alpha-Glycaryl 15mg

    Serving size is 3 caps
    40 Servings per container
Says men my weight should take 9 capsules per day.
    It costs $15.49 a bottle.
Is it worth a try? or should i just stay with the Gold?
Sorry, lots of questions i know but you seen to be the one with the right answers…
    Thanx!

    • hgh truths says:

      Steve,

This is just another weak product along the lines of Genf20 or Ghr1000. At least this one is at a real pricing level.

The problem is that you would need to take a double or triple dose of this growth hormone supplement to get the benefits. Stick to the better product.

Regarding the arginine and niacin. You should look for bulk arginine becasue you will be wanting to take 3 to 5 grams. The niacin should be regular niacin not the no flush variety.

  12. jstab says:

This website is very useful. After coming across an add for Somatropinne HGH, I figured I was going to do research before spending nearly $200.
I am 45 and have struggled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Epstein-Barr Virus. Just tried to start working out again and energy is all time low. I am eating right but not getting enough exercise. Short of breath, achy, etc. I think HgH would help. Looking for a doctor who would be open to prescribing it. Or do u think I have better chance doing my own research and getting it through the grapevine??

    • hgh truths says:

      jstab,

I always go for trying a good supplement first. Being 45 years old you might be able to find a doctor that will prescribe injectable hgh. Look for somebody who specializes in HRT or Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. There is a very good chance that somebody with your symptoms could test for a legitimate growth hormone deficiency.

  13. jstab says:

Thanks, your information has been helpful. Spent some money more wisely right now on Arginine+Ornithine, DMAE, and B-12. I will continue to reference this site and have bookmarked it!!!

  14. Jason says:

Well here I am 32yrs old and active as hell, in the gym anyway. I am very versed in work outs and what is needed to achieve my goals in muscle growth. (naturally I might add). And all the while I have been interested in what natural HGH would or could do for me for muscle recovery and growth. I’m on a very good diet of 6 meals a day with protein blend shakes added in before and after my workouts. So with the risk of sounding redundant, will something like Maxi-HGH help in my quest of muscle building? After all I have stated, I have some difficulty in acheiving more muscle definition after being on a great schedule the past year and a half. Your thoughts?

    Thanks

    • hgh truths says:

      Jason,

It won’t hurt but I don’t know how much good it will do in your situation. Your schedule would normally be already keeping your natural hgh higher.

Do you use yoga or even better Pilates as part of your routine? This sounds crazy to some guys who are into weights but I have freinds at the original Muscle Beach that got great improvements in their definition after 3 months of adding this into their routine. Didn’t hurt their social life either.

  15. AJ says:

I enjoy all the insite from your articles and the honest point of views you give on the various HGH products. What I’ve been looking for is a way not boost my over fitness to the level of a body builder but a product or products that can assist me in boosting my testosterone levels back to normal and getting me back to a level where I can maintain a good workout regimen without feeling like I’m dying afterwards and not seeing the results.

I know you probably don’t recommend but I’m looking to see what products can give me a lift in these areas; while knowing I must put forward effort to see results. Thanks!

    • hgh truths says:

      AJ,
Hgh supplements will do much of what you are looking for if you are in the right age bracket. Some of them even contain ingredients specifically to increase testosterone levels.

  16. AJ says:

Thanks for your response! I was just prescribed Depo-Testosterone today by my doctor to raise my levels on bi-weekly injections. Will the Secretatogogue Gold assist this in getting me to normal levels or push me over the top?

    • hgh truths says:

      AJ,
Secrtagogue Gold would help get you to normal levels not push you over the top. The interesting thing about hgh supplements is that the increased hgh is used by the body for what it thinks is most important. That is one of the reasons so many people report similar but different results.

  17. jstab says:

I have done a lot of research about HGH and Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. I have presented that research to an open-minded physican who has prescribed me genotropin and, together with my pharmacist, I was able to get it approved by my Rx Insurance. The first month I took .6 mg daily. The doctor increased the dosage to 1 mg for the second month and I am in the first week of that dose. I want to thank you for all the info on this site and ask 2 questions: One, what do you know/think of Genotropin and TWO: what, if any, supplementation would you recommend? I have not started back in the gym yet, but plan on doing it very soon.

    • hgh truths says:

      jstab,
Genotropin is a pharmaceutical form of rDNA somatropin made by Pfizer. This is one of the top of the line forms of prescription hgh and not one of those Chinese blue top fakes. The dosages seem a dash high but your doctor knows your situation better than I do.

One of my standard supplementation recommendations is Green Magic.

Regarding hgh supplements, taking a good one along with the injections can often improve results. Some doctors, treating patients for anti-aging purposes or adult growth hormone deficiency, combine power dosgaes of injectable hgh along with hgh supplements. I have also talked to doctors who cycle between injections and supplements.

  18. jenny says:

I am 30 years old and my boyfriend got me started on saizen a hgh and I was wondering if it is the best product for me myself to take. I weigh 143 and am wanting to tone up, increase my energy and overall feel better and healthier. I take the dosage requested by or representative, I feel healthier but it doesnt seem to be helping with weight loss or toning. Is there something better specific to my needs that would work more efficiently for me?
