HGH Side Effects

We have been getting a lot of questions about hgh side effects and risks.  Rather than do a lot of individual comment replies on review posts, we figured it would be best to group all the information in one place so there is now a new hgh side effects category on this site.

There are a lot of mini articles on the net that list a few side effects of hgh usage and then throw in a few words about being careful.  Our intention is to use a lot of words and see how much information we can fit in one place and do our best to make it as complete as possible.  If we miss anything, I am sure readers will ask about it in the comments section.

Here is a version of the standard list of risks associated with hgh:

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Thyroid Disorders
Pituitary Disorders
Muscle Pain
Hardening of the arteries
Abnormal growth of bones and internal organs

A very impressive and scary list.  Halfway down, many people would start running for cover screaming that they would never go anywhere near an hgh product.  This is often where many article writers say, “ Ohhhh, be careful!”

Well, if you take a good look at the list, it becomes obvious that some of the risks are the exact opposite of the benefits of using human growth hormone.  In fact two of the risks, diabetes and hypoglycemia are the exact opposites of each other.

What are your chances of experiencing these negative hgh side effects?

Very minimal unless you are an intentional abuser taking massive dosages of injectable growth hormone.

Almost nonexistent if you are just taking normal dosages of secretagogues.

Now that we have mentioned the bad side effects some people will just ignore the list.  Other people will just not be fully satisfied until they find out the details of each one.

Those of you who do not care, just go and read some hgh supplement reviews.

Those of you who need all the details will be happy to know that we intend to go through the whole list and give you as much information as we can.  It is too much to put in just one post so we will be doing a series of posts from today through the end of the month.

So side effects of human growth hormone here we come.

We will probably do a review of this product because it is at least passable.

Meanwhile, only the first two ingredients are of any use regarding hgh.

You left out other ingredients which included two caffeine loaded herbs which make this a bad product to take at night.

So you guys don’t know much about the pituitary/thyroid complex.

“Well, if you take a good look at the list, it becomes obvious that some of the risks are the exact opposite of the benefits of using human growth hormone. In fact two of the risks, diabetes and hypoglycemia are the exact opposites of each other.

This statement just convinced me that you guys don’t know what your talking about.
These two disorders are results of thyroid, pituitary disorders. They are hormone disorders.
injecting HGH can mess up the negative feedback loop in our system which consequently can mess up the thyroid pituitary complex. The thyroid pituitary complex is what controls hormone secretion in our bodies. Many side effects of the list are hormone dysfunction problems.
I’m not a doctor yet , but this is basic biology.

You miss the point. Diabetes and hypoglycemia are opposite conditions do to dysfunctions related to insulin and blood sugar.

One of the benefits of proper use of hgh can be a better natural balancing of insulin and blood sugar levels. people can have these conditions without exhibiting any other hormonal problems.

Things only get messed up when people take abusive levels of hgh. One wacky protocol on some body builder steroid abuse forums actually calls for people to inject insulin along with hgh.

Has anyone ever heard of nausea and vomiting from too much HGH? My first 6 months were ok but my Dr increased my doseage and I have troubles eating w/o feeling and actually vomiting at times. I had teeth capped at the same time so I am not sure whixh may be the cause. Thanks

    • hgh truths says:

I have never heard of that problem from Doctor prescribed dosages. I have never even heard that complaint from bodybuilders taking large doses.

Best thing to do is contact your Doctor and the manufacturer of the hgh brand you are taking.

Now I am assuming you are talking about injections. If the Doctor has you on a large supplement dose, there is a possibility of reaction to some ingredient.

I feel that definitely Hgh should be reserved for people with dwarfism or cell malfunctions or growth disorders.I find it very irritating that you try to make Hgh look good for those who take it to increase their appearance. If you are going to talk about the “advantages” about Hgh you should mention why and how Hgh helps the people who truly NEED it!!

  28. BUDGER says:

So I assume that if I go to A nutrition store and buy some hgh and follow the label instructions as far as the dosage goes, I will be safe with no side effects?

  29. Elisabetta says:

I am taking HGH because I am seriously deficient in IGF-1. I am starting to have periods of intense sweating. I would like to know if this is a side effect or if I am crazy. I should not be doing this at my age. I’m only taking 0.4 mg as I just started taking it. I am also taking cortisol because I was deficient in that too (I had a pituitary tumor removed and all this was discovered after the surgery). Please advise!

  30. bubba F says:

@Elisabetta…Take GenF20. Been taking it for 3 month and I have much more energy and have lost about 15 pounds. No side affects what so ever. I’m going to stop taking it for a couple of months to see how I feel.
